The success of the Woodstock District Chamber of Commerce can be attributed to the various committee members who have helped to coordinate policy positions, fundraising events, and special programs ad social functions.
The Board of Directors relies on the Committee structure for input on various issues. Your ideas are welcomed and can often influence civic, provincial and federal legislation.

Executive Committee 2008 - 2009
| The Executive Committee will deal with any matters of emergency which in the discretion of the President may require attention in the interval between regular Directors meetings and forward decision to the next Board of Directors meeting for approval. The Executive Committee will discuss issues arising, investigate and forward recommendations to the Board for approval. |

Oxford Skills Development Committee 2008 - 2009
The Oxford Skills Development - Steering Committe works in parallel and in partnership with the Business & Industry Committee. Their goal is to promote training development in Oxford County for all industry and promote partnerships with other community organizations to lobby municipal and provincial governments to enhance skills training.

Community organizations that are currently providing services in Oxford County form the Oxford Skills Development - Education Sub-Committe. the Education Sub-Committee assists in educating students, parents & teachers, guidance counselors, etc. of skills needs and opportunities. The also coordinate industry to support the cause of skills promotion and training.

The short-term goals of the Education Sub-Committees are:
- Coordinate and organize skills days within Oxford County
- Participate in SLOME
- Prepare lobbying plan for local and provincial governments to enhance skills training in Oxford County
- Prepare and execute a marketing plan to promote skills development within Oxford County
- oordinate industry for apprenticeship and co-op programs by developing a database of all organizations participating in these activities
